Well this week I learned how much of a chicken is edible. Really it was a little throw back to Thanksgiving fighting over the turkey heart... I ended up with a gizzard and two necks the other night but I was so happy I would take any meal that anyone gives me. But I don’t want you all to feel bad that I am not getting my 3 square meals a day, I am the one feeling bad for your guys that don’t have fresh passion fruit jelly to spread on your bread every morning, and that you don’t have mangoes falling from the trees everywhere you look, or fresh mango ice cream, oh and all the watermelon fields are being harvested and literally there is an endless supply of the best sweetest watermelon in the world right here in Zamorano! Not trying to make you all jealous but I ate the most amazing pineapple for breakfast today that literally tasted like candy!! And I eat a whole avocado every night for dinner... they are not even the same up there in the states!! The fruit here is amazing. I am learning so so much! Oh and I finally feel comfortable in my Spanish.... maybe a little too comfortable because I don’t shut up sometimes. I just talk and talk and talk! The other day we were in the streets and I went to talk to these two teenage boys and I starting talking with them then explained we were missionaries and wanted to pass by their house and share a message about Jesus with them and their families they were like yes that’s fine! So I started asking for their information and then I was like can I have your phone number? and they started laughing and I was like oh no I am a missionary I cant ask two guys for there number.... but I need their number to find them...but I cant just ask for random guys numbers in the streets! Oh it was so awkward and then after that they just thought I was hitting on them and they were all excited a gringa wanted their number and it just went downhill from there! But good news my dating game is going to improve after the mission because I have no problem now just walking up to guys and asking for there numbers! But all is well here in Zamorano in beautiful Honduras!! I love you all! Jesus loves you all! Don’t forget to pray!
