Well this week I got bit by a snake, lost in Tegucigalpa, cleaned out the baptismal font that was full of mud and leaves by dumping all the dirty water down the toilet, beat 10 drug lords in a stair off (late one night we got to these stairs by our house and there were 10 guys smoking weed and they told us to pass by them and not to be afraid. . . well I was afraid and so they all left the stairs and went to another part of town...the girngita has some mad respect around here), got a belly rub from a huge black 60 year old Honduran lady (the same Honduran lady who asked to marry my dad) this week and also concocteda witches brew for me to drink, de bed bugged my bed, got hit on by 3 drunk guys in the street (weekly record is still 5), got lead up in the mountains by an old guy trying to show us where he lived, had a baptism for a little girl that got baptized at 7 years old thanks to the Elders who never read Moroni 8, was one of 20 people who chose to go to church on Sunday and no to go to the Carnaval and get drunk (it was a tough choice for me. I almost chose the latter), dropped all my money in the street and had to go back and find it, used HORSE LOTION and smelled like a stable all day (thanks mom your the best!) Oh, also my backpack broke in the street and all my books, money, and camera went flying all over right when a car was coming for us. Oh, I love being a missionary. Seriously I don’t think I want to come home ever. Good thing I still have a lot of time here in crazy Honduras eating crazy things! Every week here is an adventure but the best part is everyday I get to wake up and walk to streets with only one purpose- to bring people unto Christ. Seriously, it is the greatest just to serve as a representative of Him.
I love you all and can feel your love here in dusty, beautiful, hot, humid Honduras!!!
