So this week was a little rough we didn’t have food again because our cocinera’s dad is in the hospital he is really old, and he got hit by a truck. He is in really bad shape so we just cooked our own lunch this week! It was a rough situation neither Hna Alonzo or I really know how to cook but Wednesday we went to the store and bought a bunch of ingredients to make burritos or algo we bought a bunch of eggs uncooked tortillas and beans and cheese andtodo! We cracked all the eggs in a pan, and we just have a little burner thing to cook our food. Well, we were sitting for like 15 minutes and the eggs were barely cooking. Then there was a little fire, mas or menos, and the stove completely stopped working leaving us with a bunch of raw food. So we ate some raw tortillas and cheese and cookies! Then this weekend we fasted but we forgot to check to see if we had food for after our fast . All we had was leftover cake from this HUGE surprise party we had for an hermana in the branch, but we didn’t have any water! Only like 2 small baggies so we each drank a baggie of water and then went to a member and begged for a glass of water . She gave us a little, but we were dying! We weighed our options about five times break the Sabbath and buy water orrrrr die. We decided to just tough it out because we didn’t want anyone to see us buying water on Sunday but we didn’t die! We are seeing miracles everyday here! Oh and we are tag teaching this investigator that lives in Teguc during the week and Zamo the weekends so the Elders in Teguc are teaching her and then we teach her Saturdays and take her to church its a pretty sweet deal! Oh and there are hooligan children lighting houses on fire, so if its not me with our cooking its going to be a dumb kid that burns our house to the ground! I love Honduras!!!
Keep it real! Drink water!
