Sydney will only write emails one day a week on her preparation day. You can communicate with her a few different ways, but email is the easiest.
Sydney's Email: sydney.oram@myldsmail.net
Snail Mail: Remember that international letters cost more and they usually take 7+ days to arrive...sometimes up to three weeks, so be patient if you are expecting a reply
Mailing Address in Honduras:
Sister Sydney Oram
Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission
Colonia Florencia Norte, Contiguo a SEARS
Entre boulevar Suyapa y PriceSmart
Edificio Plaza America, 3er Piso
Tegucigalpa M.D.C. HONDURAS C.A.
We just got a letter asking that we only use USPS for mailing packages. UPS, FedEX and other carriers are storing packages and then charging huge storage fees.
Phone: 504 2239-5587
If you ship a package via a private courier, they will need the mission office telephone number listed above.
Small packages of nominal value may be sent through regular mail. Photographs, tapes, CDs, thumb drives, etc., should be sent in padded envelopes because they may damage postal equipment or be damaged during transit if placed in flat envelopes.
Packages sent to other countries often do not reach their intended destination. When they do arrive, they are subject to customs duties (taxes) that the missionary must pay from his or her personal funds. This amount may be equal to or greater than the cost of the items being sent. In other words, don't bother sending anything of great value, but little goodies are always great. (swedish fish and peach rings are her favorite)
