Life in the hood is great. I love city life sometimes I mean it isn’t quite like it looks in the movies like Honduras is way different than New York but the whole hailing taxis thing sometimes makes me feel like I am real important until I step in some nasty juca water. But I am just going to be real honest I am the worst at crossing streets literally I have almost killed my companion and I like 3 times just from trying to cross a street. Yesterday we were walking and all of a sudden she asked me "Hermana, why are we walking in the middle of the street?" I looked around and we were in the middle of a crazy boulevard just walking right up the middle. I am really distracted. Sometimes I just miss the pueblitos. But well the last week has been real rough no one likes us and no one really cares about anything we have to say. I think it is just a phase and Tegucigalpa with change sooner or later. But yeah it has been a little interesting. But life is good we are working hard and everyone is happy. I have been eating a lot of Coco Baleadas it is like the Honduran version of Chipotle. It is kind of the greatest ever and I found Dr. Pepper in the city so things are shaping up. I love you all nothing crazy has happened this week we just had a full on fight out in front of the Catholic church at 9 at night the other day when this rich old mad started totally chewing us out I just responded in my casual gringa innocent voice and 15 minutes later he drove off not without some insults that hit pretty deep but whatever life goes on. I LOVE HONDRUAS! But really there are some maciso people here!!!
